If you love a great piece of salmon cooked to perfection, then this is the pefect meal prep tutorial for you. I meal prep almost every week and this is probably one the quickest and tastiest preps I use.  In this video I'll show step by stop my process of making salmon and asparagus.
Prep time is about 10-15 minutes and thr cook time is about 15 minutes total.  Try this super healthy and fat burning prep, and feel free to add it to your meal prep arsenal.

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs of Salmon (can be wild of farm raise, farm raised taste better ijs)
  • 2 bunches of asparagus
  • 1 red onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Kirkland Signature Organic  No Salt Seasoning
  • Braggs 24 Herbs and Spices
  • Sweet Chili Sauce

Cooking Instructions:
  • Salmon Prep:
    • Rinse salmon in cold water and pat dry with paper towel
    • If purchased in one piece, cut salmon into 1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces
    • Slice thin cuts about 1 inch apart (this help get the flavor inside and cook thoroughly)
    • Coat with with a light layer of olive oil
    • Season the top side with salt, pepper and garlic (2-4 pinches for each 4 oz piece)
    • Drizzle 1 tsp of sweet chili sauce on the top side using a spoon or spatula to spread it evenly
  • Heat a large pan on medium heat
  • Once hot, add 2 tbsp of olive olive and spread evenly across the pan
  • Place salmon on pan top side down for about 3-5 minutes (this sears in the seasoning and sweet chili sauce) then flip and allow to cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  • NOTE* If you prefer your salmon well done, then follow the above steps verbatim, if not take about 2 minutes off the cooking time after flipping.
